Acoustic Functional Materials with Controlled Structure

BMF provides different functional acoustic materials, such as innovative core-shell particles with prescribed microstructure that overcome the conventional mass law in acoustic materials. Our fabrication platform can also enable novel design of photonic crystal, in combination with microfluidics and micro/nano-manufacturing technology. Our research shows the 3D printed acoustic materials can effectively boost the performance of acoustic coating and acoustic panels in low frequency, while being lightweight. We can provide technical consulting solutions for customers with special requirements for noise and vibration control in automobile, rail transit, aerospace and other industries.
